These discs include ashes of the one and only "Steady" Ed Headrick. Ed was the father of Disc Golf and an innovator in disc sports. He was also the founder of the Professional Disc Golf Association, and held membership #001 (shown on these discs).
Ed wished that once he passed away his ashes be incorporated into discs so that he could fly forever. Ed was an innovator who loved the Disc Golf and FrisbeeŽ community and wished to be remembered to all through these commemorative discs after his passing.
Proceeds from the sale of these discs will be used to construct the "Steady" Ed Memorial Museum that will be built at the new National Disc Golf Center.
