  DISCatcher Sport Recreational Target #2434

The Innova DISCatcherŽ Sport target is great as a home target and as a portable Disc Golf target for temporary courses. This great target is lighter in weight than its big brother, The DISCatcher PRO, but features 18 chains stretched around the outside of the chain rack. This makes it one of the best-catching targets available for home and recreational use.

The target comes in 6 parts, and assembles in 5 minutes with the aid of a screwdriver. This basket is just what the doctor ordered for working on your short game, which is where many stokes are saved (or lost)! This quality target is perfect for schools, camps, and church groups. Definitely a great target at a nice price!

To keep our prices low, we have baskets shipped to you direct from the manufacturer. Therefore, please allow for additional time for shipment and delivery of baskets, as well as receipt of tracking numbers on these items. Please call us for a price quote on expedited shipping, as our on-line quote engine will NOT provide accurate overnight, 2, or 3-day shipping quotes.

Features:

  • Durable yellow powder coated finish on chain rack
  • Hot dipped galvanized finish on other basket parts
  • 18 chains with galvanized finish
  • 40 pounds and very portable
  • PDGA regulation basket size
  • Great for parks and schools!

What is this sport anyway? Disc golf (also referred to as "frisbee golf") is played much like traditional golf. Instead of a ball and clubs, however, players use a flying disc, or FrisbeeŽ. The sport was formalized in the 1970s, and shares with "ball golf" the object of completing each hole in the fewest number of strokes (or, in the case of disc golf, fewest number of throws). Currently, there are more than 1,750 disc golf courses worldwide, with over 1,400 in the USA.
