The Innova Stingray STAR is an understable Multi-purpose golf disc that can be used for tight tee-shots or long approaches. It can be easily enticed into an anhyzer by releasing at an angle, and will "turn over" when thrown hard and flat. The STAR Stingray is made with Innova's tough but grippy STAR plastic, making it a great choice for players who wear out the DX Stingray too quickly.
The Stingray is absolutely our favorite disc for new players. It can be used as a driver, mid-range, and even putter (although we recommend new players pick up a separate putter), and will likely earn a spot in your bag longer-term as a solid long approach disc. If you're looking for that "one" disc to pick up first, then look no further.
