Maximizer DX - Out of Print #12569

Please Note:
The color and "stamp" (disc image/logo) sent to you will vary from the picture shown above.

Please click here for more information.
The Maximizer DX is a large-diameter disc golf driver that is excellent for beginners who need slightly more stability. For players just starting out, this is a good disc for long straight drives, with a little fade at the end. For harder-throwing players, this disc is a good slow turner that will age into a great roller. The Maximizer is an old-school driver that was originally manufactured by a Canadian disc golf company. This disc subsequently became distributed by Innova and is now out-of-print.

What is this sport anyway? Disc golf (also referred to as "frisbee golf") is played much like traditional golf. Instead of a ball and clubs, however, players use a flying disc, or FrisbeeŽ. The sport was formalized in the 1970s, and shares with "ball golf" the object of completing each hole in the fewest number of strokes (or, in the case of disc golf, fewest number of throws). Currently, there are more than 1,750 disc golf courses worldwide, with over 1,400 in the USA.
